When should I arrive and depart?
We recommend arriving on September 6th so you can settle in and, we hope, join us for a casual welcome aperitivo. That said, official celebrations begin on the afternoon of September 7th and will conclude on September 8th, with most guests departing on the 9th.
The Daniels and Bennetts will be extending their stay in Montalcino for a few days following the wedding, and you are absolutely welcome to remain and join us. If that does become part of your plan, please do let Jess or Matthew know so we can be sure to include you in anything we have planned.
Do I need a car at the venue?
We will be providing transportation for all wedding related events on September 7th and 8th. That said, we strongly recommend having a car if you are interested in exploring Montalcino on any other days.
Are children welcome?
We would love to have your little ones. Please let us know if you will be bringing them with you as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.
What about dietary restrictions?
The chefs at Castiglion del Bosco will absolutely accommodate any dietary needs. Please let us know any restrictions you may have as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.
Gifts & registry?
Your presence in Montalcino, after what we know was quite the journey to get here, is truly the only gift we could ask for. We mean that wholeheartedly and therefore will not be putting together any kind of registry.
